I have spent the better part of 2025 and 2026 obsessing over a specific film camera. The photos it takes are infectious to me. I have dived into relics of manuals on how to operate it. Watched countless videos of others learning the tips and tricks. Anxiously stalked numerous ebay posts to find the right model and seller. Plus a handful of weeks of saving funds to afford the purchase.
After all that, I finally have a Panon Widelux, the F7 model specifically. This camera shoots panoramic style photos on 35mm film. And it is the FREAKIN COOLEST.
I took this out with my friends Mike and Matt along with their kids to the Dallas Zoo to go through the first roll. You’ll see light leaks, banding, under/over exposure. Just some little lessons to learn from is all.
This camera is not like anything I have ever used since I got into shooting analog but I cannot wait to grow and learn more.
